kool stuff good effects
Hey scott,
i’m really curious about the line splitter/octavator(?) combination you use to get both a clean sub bass and an effected high end. Do you need 2 amp inputs (or 2 amps) to run both channels at once, or are they somehow combined before the signal reaches your amp head? Also, what’s the name and manufacturer of the second pedal in the clean sub bass combination?
thanks man!
Hey Matt, I just use one amp input. Basically it goes… bass > line splitter > two lines come out of splitter and go through which ever effects I want > then both signals go back into the line splitter (input) > then one signal comes out of the output of the splitter into the amp. The clean sub bass pedal is an EBS octave pedal. Ez man, S.
Hi Scott, love your work.
Ever use all-in-one effects units?
Yeah sometimes… I’ve got a Line 6 M9 but I really have to sit down and learn how it works… I just haven’t got enough time at the moment… Doh! lol! ;)))
Hey Scott, if you are looking for an octave pedal without tracking problems, try the Electro Harmonix POG2! It is also true bypass, has a few interesting extra knobs and sounds really good!
What effects are you using on your mode videos? It is a killer solo sound!
Its just a bit of delay Steve ;)
Hey Scott,
Great to know what our Maestro uses :D if you are looking for some cool synth pedals check Pigtronix Mothership, Its a pretty crazy pedal and gives great synth sound & POG2 is also a really good option.
Cheers
Hey Scott,
You didn’t include any compressors in your video. Do you normally use a compressor?
Philip.
No, I don’t really use them. S ;)
Hi Scott,
I’m not shure if i should buy a Boss ME-50B. Do you have any experience with this multi-effect borad? The Internet says more than less positiv things about this pedal-board.
What do you think? Is it a great alternate to single effect pedals?
Thanks and kind regards from switzerland
