Summary
In this course we invited legendary bassist Gary Willis to perform, analyse and break down Joe Henderson’s Inner Urge. This is one of those jazz standards that will often get called at a jam session and it’s a tune that Gary knows all too well having recorded it with the great Allan Holdsworth on his album None Too Much.
The first step is to download the backing track together with the workbook that includes the tab and notation for everything that Gary plays. Gary has spent years developing how he interprets melodies and chord progressions, and that’s what this course is really all about. It’s way more than just digging into some jazz. If you take on this course, you’ll be able to approach the way you improvise in a completely new way.
