Bass Line Creation Guide (How to Create Your Own Bass Lines)

One of the main questions I get asked is "Ok, scales, modes, arpeggios, chord tones... but how do I actually use these to create bass lines?!"

And don't worry... I used to be confused about the same thing.

In this lesson I'm going to demonstrate how focusing on the fundamentals is key - whether you're just starting out or you're a full time professional that's been playing and teaching for years.

You're going to learn how to build a great groove with many possibilities of variation, by simply sticking to the fundamentals and then learning to approach them from multiple angles.

I'm going to take you step by step through a simple process that will take you from using only root notes, right through to chromatic substitutions and rhythmic displacement using multiple chord tones and variations.
