This is a fiendishly funky Latin-fusion tune. The term “fusion” typically refers to a marriage of a rock-type feel and jazz harmony (although it can also include other musical styles too). In this instance, we’re presented with complex rhythmic figures and some equally complex harmony. This tune will see us playing syncopated grooves, unison lines AND we’ve got the chance to take a bass solo! “Story Teller” is going to be great for building your rhythmic chops, developing your plucking and fretting hand, and deepening your knowledge of harmony.
