About This Episode
In today’s podcast we’re talking to Danny Mo Morris about his long-standing love affair with the bass!
You’ve got to like Danny Mo Morris. For starters, he is one of the unsung heroes of American bass playing, having spent 28 years teaching at Boston’s world-renowned Berklee College of Music. Despite the demands of his job, Danny is a relaxed, laid-back guy whose love of the bass guitar began in his high-school days and continued to grow through many years of gigging and studying.
Embracing a steady work ethic was easy for Danny, as his curiosity surrounding music fuelled both his drive and his desire. Danny is also that rare thing – a bass player who doesn’t feel the need to show off his skills all the time. Find out why he’s playing fewer notes now than ever before…
