Dave Swift

Having been a permanent member of Jools Holland’s Rhythm & Blues Orchestra since 1991, Dave has taken to the stage with some of the biggest names in popular music, including George Benson, Chaka Khan, Al Jarreau and Sir Paul McCartney to name but a few. When it comes to listing his influences on the bass guitar, Dave is quick to mention James Jamerson, Jaco Pastorius, Steve Swallow and Marcus Miller before drawing our attention to Anthony Jackson, who he names as his greatest inspiration.
