Ian Trusheim

Ian Trusheim is a multifaceted electric bassist, composer and instructor of music known for his versatility and adaptability, as well as his dedication to the art of music. Naturally, Ian’s earliest memories in life revolve around music; he has been a professional musician and teacher for two plus decades, playing most vernacular forms of music. A lover of great songs and grooves, it’s difficult to pigeon-hole Ian’s musical taste. As he says, “If it’s good, it’s good!” You’ll most likely hear him, Precision Bass in hand, playing the flavor of the song. As an instructor, Ian says, “I’ve been teaching since I had no business doing so!” However, through years of experience (on the band stand, and in the studio and classroom), Ian has refined his distinguished ability to accessibly explain concepts. As a result, students with diverse backgrounds, from beginner to professional, feel comfortable and easily informed working with Ian.
