Keith Peberdy

Keith picked up the bass at 16 and was gigging within months. With no teacher around, he taught himself how to read music, understand harmony, and play across styles — learning by doing and by playing with as many musicians as possible.

Since those early days, he’s built a wide-ranging career spanning jazz, pop, and broadcasting, including time with the European Youth Jazz Orchestra and collaborations with major artists across the industry.

As an educator, Keith has led countless workshops and lectures on bass, harmony, and composition. His philosophy? Learn from your heroes, but always find your own voice.
