Mo Foster

Mo Foster has a credit list that could fill a book. In fact it has! Having placed a ‘Bass Player Available’ ad in Melody Maker, Mo kick-started his session career in the early ‘70s. Working with ex-Manfred Mann singer, Mike D’Abo, and Olivia Newton-John was a springboard to numerous tours and studio dates with the likes of Hank Marvin, Cliff Richard and, later on, Van Morrison, Phil Collins and Jeff Beck. Becoming a bass player, Mo says, was the result of a series of accidents, many of which are revealed in his book, British Rock Guitar.
