Paul Geary

Paul Geary, Players Path Coach, is among the UK’s leading studio and session bassists. Starting bass at 18 in a gospel church, he went on to study in the US, earning honors at Berklee College of Music and Musicians Institute. He got his first break with Lisa Stansfield and Gabrielle, later touring and recording with Chris Rea, Chris Norman, and countless others.

Since 1997, Paul has anchored Nik Kershaw’s band while working with major artists including George Michael, Simply Red, Donny and Marie Osmond, Sister Sledge, Westlife, and Mary J. Blige. Alongside his busy touring schedule, he’s taught at the Academy of Contemporary Music and contributed to Guitar Techniques and Bass Guitar Magazine.
