It feels like only yesterday that X-Factor finalists, One Direction, burst onto the music scene. In addition to their high standing in the UK, the boys were also quick to make waves across the Atlantic, largely thanks to a North American tour and television appearances on shows like ‘Saturday Night Live’ and ‘The Today Show’. Having been auditioned for the band’s first UK tour, bassist Sandy Beales went on to play with One Direction throughout their five-year climb to superstardom.
