The Groove Formula That Blew My Mind - Featuring Gavin Harrison
12/28/2019
Today we’re lucky enough to have one of the best drummers in the world with us… the legendary, Gavin Harrison!
Drummer for the likes of Incognito, Lisa Stansfield, Paul Young, Iggy Pop, Level 42… yep, he’s seriously good ;)
In this week's video Gavin is going to be teaching you a really unique groove formula that will give you the ability to play in ANY time signature, but feel it in 4/4.
If that sounds crazy, you’re right, it is - but it works… and it’s easy.
In fact, in the opening clip of this video Gavin and I are playing in 17!
As always, see you in the shed…
Scott :)
