Essential Sight Reading for Bass - Part 2
Summary
Deciphering written notes and rhythm is our first port of call when learning to read music and it’s a skill that we’re going to continue to work on in Part 2 of this course.
Hopefully, Part 1 has given you plenty to be getting on with, but don’t worry if it has taken you a while to get to grips with, and even if you do feel ready to move on, you can always refer back to the first instalment to brush up on specific areas. Try to remember that, as with the areas we covered in Part 1, all of these things are supposed to make life easier. As ever, all we need is a systematic ‘work-through’ approach and we will be able to decipher the material, gradually getting more proficient with practice.
