Bass Sounds in the Studio with Michael League

In this upcoming course, Grammy-winning bassist, composer, and all-around music guru Michael League takes us into the studio to show how to produce the perfect bass sound for a song. Along with breaking down his own process for finding unique tones, Michael gives a tour of a variety of classic basses to decipher the sonic differences, and introduces creative techniques that elevate a bass’s character in a mix. Teaching by example, you’ll watch as he records bass parts for four different tracks, using a unique approach for each to demonstrate how the pros make modern recordings stand out, and ultimately serve a song in the best way possible.
