Plucking-Hand and Muting Technique Basics
Summary
In Course 1 of this series, you got to know all of the pieces of the instrument, how to hold it properly, how to tune, and more, but the purpose of this course is to get you PLAYING and grooving as soon as possible!
With that goal in mind, we’ll teach you how to correctly get sound from your bass with a focus on your plucking hand. This is one of the most essential, core techniques that will set you up for success throughout the rest of your bass-playing life.
You will also be introduced to a simple muting technique, and most importantly, get to practice both of these elements while playing along with a killer drum groove.
