Putting It All Together - 'Witchcraft'

In this final course of Level 02, Ian will help put all of these new concepts together in a song inspired by “Black Magic Woman”—a tune written by Peter Green of (early) Fleetwood Mac, and later popularized by Santana.

Our song is called “Witchcraft,” and it has a 12-bar blues form, contains all of the new eighth-note rhythms and rests we’ve just learned, plus shows the box shape in action.

And it’s also a great song to have in your repertoire.

This practice track is a bit longer in duration than the earlier exercises and songs in this program, because as you’re building your skills, we’re also building up your stamina to tackle longer pieces of music.
