Ian King

Ian King has worked with Adam Lambert (Queen), Tom Grennan, The SugarBabes, Hugh Jackman, The Temptations, The Supremes, Sister Sledge, Ronan Keating, Huey Lewis, Don Felder (The Eagles) and Paul Young among many others. Ian has toured arenas with Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’, ‘Dr.Who Live!’ and most recently ‘Queen Rock Symphonic’. He has held the bass chair in the West End for Dreamgirls, The Book of Mormon, Shrek the Musical, Sister Act, Hairspray, Fame & Daddy Cool and is currently playing in Hamilton: An American Musical at The Victoria Palace Theatre, London. Ian has created both the ‘Soul and R&B’ and ‘Funk’ Learning Pathways for SBL, and is an active member of the coaching team, having coached students through the Jazz, Slap and Fretboard Accelerator courses.
