Sheldon Dingwall

Sheldon was in his early teens when he built his first guitar in his uncle's workshop. After touring as a pro musician for three years (playing guitars he had built himself) Sheldon returned home to start a guitar neck manufacturing business. At the same time he set up shop in a local music store, where he progressed from guitar repairs to entire instrument builds. Having established Dingwall Guitars in Saskatoon, Canada, the Dingwall brand continues to be held in high esteem among the bass community more than 30 years on from its foundation in 1987, with Lee Sklar and Adam ‘Nolly’ Getgood of Periphery both onboard.
