This is an awesome shuffle funk tune that lets us sit deep in the pocket. The drums in this song are really busy and the bass does a great job of keeping things locked down and grooving. Notice also how the use of space in the bass line keeps the tune from feeling too cluttered. That said, there’s a real sense of rhythmic movement to the bassline (especially in the B section), something that makes this piece so much fun to play!
